2 CASTER'S IN THE A-MAIN AT THE 'BIG KAHUNA' RACE

My newest driver on the Canadian Caster racing team, is Leonard Schinzano. He is known as being an exceptionally fast 1/10 racer, and many have also wondered whether he will be able to apply that raw talent to 1/8 off-road. Well, I'm excited to announce (but not shocked in the least) that he made the A-Main at this weekends 'Big Kahuna' race at AMS Speedway, in Grand Blanc, Michigan, in his very first race representing Caster. In fact, I earned the last spot in the A-main myself, so there were 2 Caster's in 'the show'.

We both suffered trivial problems during the race, with Len's clutch bearings failing him, and a rear wheel nut falling off my car. I was able to rejoin the race after minutes in the pits, trying to source another wheel nut. Leonard wasn't so fortunate, and regretfully fell from 4th place, where he was running at the time, to getting a DNF. We wound up finishing 7th (Kevin) and 8th (Len) as a result, but having two Caster's make the A-main, was very exciting.

Referring to Len during practice, a gentleman in the pits leaned over to me and said "Holy cow! that guy's fast huh?". I proceeded to tell him that Len had never run 1/8 off-road before in his life, and was simply trying to get used to his new Caster ZX-1.5R. He laughed, and said "ya right". With nothing more I could say, I simply replied "remember this name...Leonard Schinzano".

Our Canadian team is getting ready for the upcoming 2010 season. We have an exciting new driver, all new cars, and we are all anxious to get back out and do more racing. The 2010 season is going to be exceptional for Caster!
