CASTER DONATES A ZX-1.5R BUGGY...
After the completion of the 2009 GLORCS racing season, there was an awards banquet held in Burlington, Ontario. It was a perfect time for all the drivers, series directors, photographers and spectators alike, to have some dinner and talk about all the excitement we had enjoyed during the GLORCS series this season.
As one of GLORCS's premiere sponsors, there were many Caster prizes given away, and I was thrilled to have presented a brand new ZX-1.5R Pro buggy kit to one lucky winner, who has never raced R/C, but intends to start next summer, now that he has his own buggy! It made me very happy to hear him say that, and also made it all worth while.
GLORCS also announced that it will be adding '1/8 electric buggy' to it's list of classes for the upcoming 2010 season, and the buzz has already begun about the Caster Fusion's debut in our series. Myself, and the rest of the Canadian Caster team, will be running the Fusion over the winter months, in preparation for the 2010 series.
The amount of attention that has been drawn to Caster in Canada this year, has been nothing short of extraordinary, and it's due to combined efforts. The Canadian team drivers, the GLORCS series, and most of all, due to Caster's tireless efforts to promote RC racing, and it's products, in Canada!
To say I've enjoyed my first year representing Caster as well as being involved in the development of the Canadian race team, would be an enormous understatement. I've made many new friends, both on and off the track, and have had smashing success with the Caster car this year.
I want to take this opportunity to thank Caster for continually supporting me and my team. I also want to thank our sponsors; Brandon Campbell of Xtreme RC and Rick Endler of Rizzo's Rides. Thanks guys! We have greatly appreciated your help this year.
Last but not least, my team drivers. Darren Charpontier, Bryan Cote, Brian Belanger, Derek Rafuse, Willy Howells, and Chris Capelo. Without any of you, we never would have gotten as far as we did this year. Your contributions to this team don't go unrecognized!
I probably speak for the entire Canadian team, when I say that I'm already looking forward to the 2010 race season, and many more to follow.
Season's greetings everyone, and I hope to see you at the races sometime soon!!!
